Over 65 artists display at historic Old Naval Hospital on Capitol Hill

Washington, D.C. (June 4, 2013)
– Hilary Woznica work has been selected as part of the Open Regional Juried Art Exhibition at the Hill Center Galleries on Capitol Hill. The show runs June 25 through September 1, 2013. Woznica is one of 65 artists whose work was chosen for the Hill Center exhibition, which was juried by Jack Rasmussen, Director and Curator of the American University Museum at the Katzen Arts Center.

A Reception with the Artists will occur at Hill Center Galleries on June 25, 2013 at 6 p.m. At 7:30 p.m., Rasmussen will present a Gallery Talk, during which he will announce the first, second, and third place, along with honorable mention, award winners.

Hill Center Galleries consists of six distinct exhibition spaces in the exquisitely renovated Civil War-era Old Naval Hospital at 921 Pennsylvania Avenue, SE, just one block from Eastern Market Metro. First and second floor galleries are enhanced by 14-foot ceilings and natural light, which streams in through eight-foot windows. All artwork is available for purchase.

Hill Center Galleries are open to the general public Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Saturdays 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Sundays 12 Noon to 5:00 p.m. There are occasional closings for special events.
