Eighth
grade students will begin Family Life Education (FLE) on February 2 and lessons
will conclude on February 9. Parents who do not their children participate in
Human Growth and Development instruction may choose to opt their children out
of any or all of the lessons. If you would like to opt your child out of one or
more of these lessons, please fill out the opt-out form for your child’s grade
level and return it to your child’s teacher. If you have already indicated your
desire to opt your child out of the HGD lessons by using the form sent home
earlier in the school year, you do not need to return this form. Please visit

additional information and copies of the FLE opt-out forms.
