Would
you like your child to become involved in a "hands-on" global service
project?
Current 7th and 8th grade students are being given the opportunity to
participate in an FCPS International Service Learning Program in Peru from June
24-July 3. During the 10-day study tour, students will volunteer with partner
organization Peru's Challenge to serve impoverished communities in rural Peru.
The focus of this year's trip is environmental sustainability and to that end,
students will work in different service areas such as education and
microfinance, community development and health to assist in making the
community more self-sufficient.
A parent information session will be held
JANUARY 14, 2014 at 6:30-7:15pm in the Glasgow Middle School Library.
