Glasgow Community,

Mr. Stuecheli has posted the IBMYP Assessment information (which covers grading procedures and more about the IB Assessment).

You will be able to find it on the Glasgow Webpage under the "IB Middle Years Programme" tab and then under the link for "Assessment at Glasgow."   This is the presentation we provided at Parent Night recently, and it will always be located in this section of the site.  We will continuously be keeping the Website up-to-date.

If you have any questions regarding the IB Programme, please contact the IB Coordinator, Nonye Oladimeji, at ceoladimeji@fcps.edu .  If you have any questions regarding the website, please contact the website curator (and Health & Physical Education Teacher), Tim Stuecheli at tastuecheli@fcps.edu .

Goodbye Mr. Simmons!

Justin Simmons

Goodbye  Mr. Simmons!

This Friday, October 11, 2013 will be Mr. Simmons last day at Glasgow Middle School as he will be moving on to become Educational Specialist of College Success Programs.  Mr. Simmons has worked at Glasgow since the 2010-2011  school year.  Ever since that time, Mr. Simmons has become a huge part of the Glasgow Family and Community - motivating all students to do their very best and being an absolutely enjoyable, energetic, and   educator and individual to be around.  Mr. Simmons has the ability to make anyone and everyone smile - staff or student, and has the ability to make everyone's day enjoyable.  He will be greatly missed!

From Principal Penny Gros -

"I consider Justin to be a truly exceptional educator.  In the short time I have worked with him, he has demonstrated genuine enthusiasm, passion, humor and a strong work ethic and sense of team spirit coupled with a real gift for connecting with students and staff.  He will be greatly missed at Glasgow.  We wish him all the best with his pending wedding and this new promotion to serve a very special group of students county-wide."
